Wow! what an invention!
Podcasts are useful in storing information, an advantage for libraries, which is accessed when required.
Podcasts can be heard on the radio, with podcast users calling from around the World.

week 7 Social networking or Tagging

Social networking or Tagging is an informal tool to keep your own collection in order.
This tool will be a great help in locating family history , with a easy approach to find a particular person much more easily, so that we could share with others.

Week 5 Wiki sesson.
Once again Claire has been ourstanding in teaching us the Wiki sesson.
I found Wiki very satisfying, in that informatiion can be researched, and forwarded to different locations.
Also, the information that others have expressed relating to their position in the library was interesting.

Archival material saved for future generations

Using RSS feeds for the first time I was amazed at the quality of the photographies available and the quickness of recover.
RSS feeds give an insight into how library patrons are always so quick in reservations for current material, which had just been entered in the library's catalogue.
As a news frantic, I find the RSS feeds can focus on the World, using all the current newspapers
with updates.
We used Bloglines today also, and I found this site interesting as the RSS feeds.

what I have learnt about RSS feeds and Bloglines are an asset to my library and myself.

Learning week 1 & 2

This is my first hand view and learning session of 2.0, with this new skill I can now focus on upgrading my own blog. I have found the learning sessions very informative, although I have used other blogs for research, this is my first blog.
